As a self- taught artist I have had a passion for art and have immersed myself in making art for the majority of my life, working from my studio as often as time permits. I have studied fine art and have been passing on my knowledge and expertise for 25 years.

Art is who I am and how I relax in today’s loud and chaotic world. Painting and drawing provides a time of privacy for me, my thoughts become totally absorbed in the intrigue, excitement, frustration and curiosity of the present moment, and art becomes my meditation.

I love having a dedicated studio space for my painting and drawing, my studio is a place for me to escape, experiment and create something visually pleasing. My focus is on experimenting with all mediums and surfaces, stretching the limits in exploring colour, shape, ideas, and design. My art has become a voyage of discovery and creativity and has evolved into a life-long journey.

My appreciation goes to all the artists I have met, studied and viewed. I am inspired to learn all I can through experimentation and lack of inhibition. They have all added to my knowledge, which I endeavour to pass onto my students.
